The Three D's To Prayer

  1. Desire

  2. Delight

  3. Discipline

Prayer requires Desire. If you don’t desire to pray it will be impossible to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Desire comes from being hungry for God! Ask God to give you a hunger to pray.

Prayer requires Delight. Enjoying to communicate with God is what produces spiritual growth. When you enjoy praying you're not rushing your conversation with the Lord. Delighting releases your heart's desire!

Prayer requires Discipline. You have to have a plan in place to allocate time for God, with day to day busyness it’s easy to miss out on time with God, but I encourage you to setup time that can’t be interrupted by anything.

Three Principles to Getting Your Prayers Answered

  1. Wait

Praying is not about the timing of his response, but the relationship while waiting on his response - Isaiah 40:31

2. Prepare

Building your faith, understanding, and devotion -“If the ax is dull, And one      does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.” - Ecclesiastes‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NKJV‬

 3. Expectancy

You have a assurance in your spirit and heart that what is expected according to his will, and purpose - Hebrews 11:6

Expectancy is a mental attitude, that what you are believing God for, will happen.
